Korla, often known as "Pear City," is situated in central Xinjiang, nestled at the Tianshan Mountains' southern foot and on the Tarim Basin's northeastern edge. This historic city has long been a thriving hub where culture, art, and natural beauty converge. The project design thoughtfully integrates modern approaches to harmonize ancient Eastern traditions with contemporary life, embedding these timeless elements into every corner of the space. Inspired by the delicate interplay of colors found in traditional Chinese paintings, the design reflects the ever-shifting hues of Eastern art. Through meticulous selection and refinement, key aesthetic elements are applied to create a refined, elegant atmosphere that radiates the luxurious charm of Eastern culture.
Drawing from the layout principles of ancient Chinese architecture, the design features the symbolic "Four Waters Returning to the Hall." In this concept, waters from all directions flow gently and converge at the hall’s entrance, symbolizing the dynamic circulation of wealth and blessings. This convergence opens a gateway to prosperity and auspiciousness, embodying the aspirations for a future filled with good fortune and harmony.
In this design, the golden poplars stand as a tribute to the vitality of Xinjiang’s landscapes. Their graceful presence outlines the region's breathtaking scenery, with vibrant colors that evoke the grandeur of Western China. This invites visitors to immerse themselves in the vast and stunning beauty of the area.
